About the role
As a Train Technician with us, you play an important role in keeping Sweden's trains in top condition.

You will:

• Perform maintenance and repairs of locomotives and carriages according to instructions.
• Conduct troubleshooting.
• Report and document your work in our systems.
• Actively participate in improvement work for a more efficient and safer working environment.
• Collaborate closely with your team to ensure that the trains are safe and ready for operation.

Your profile
We are looking for you who is a technical problem solver with a genuine interest in mechanics and technology.

You have:

• Upper secondary education in vehicle technology, industry, or electricity.
• At least 3–4 years of experience working in a workshop environment.
• Experience in repairing and servicing machinery or vehicles.
• Preferably knowledge in troubleshooting digital and electrical equipment.
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

Merits:

• Experience with forklifts, electrical knowledge, and ability to read electrical diagrams.
• Experience as a mechanic.

• Location: Gävle
• Scope: Full-time
• Start date: As agreed
• Working hours: Daytime, shift work occurs occasionally and may become relevant in the future.
• Employment type: Permanent position with a 6-month probation period

As part of our recruitment process, we conduct the Master tests OPTO and CORE to obtain a fair and objective assessment of your skills.

We also conduct a background check before an employment offer is made, as well as a health examination, as the position is security classified.
